Examples of faith in many ways

  • Take part in a sleep out to raise money for the support of the homeless in Birmingham, and to help them deepen their understanding of the sufferings of others.
  • Host an inter-religious visit, students from Hodge Hill Girls’, a school where 96% of the students are Muslim.
  • Continue their active participation in the John Paul II award scheme, which involves students in service projects in their local parish.
  • Fund-raise for students and staff to take part in the 2016 Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

99 petitions were written by pupils at Bishop Walsh Catholic School and have been taken by sixth former’s on their pilgrimage to Lourdes. They have been placed in the prayer intentions box which sits next to Our Lady of Lourdes statue in the Grotto.
